Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains what personal data pressmith.dev collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Pressmith is an independent WordPress development studio based in Ukraine, operated by sole proprietor (FOP) Denys Volodymyrovych Kanibolotskyi (ФОП Каніболотський Денис Володимирович), who is the controller responsible for the personal data described here. For any privacy question or request, email [email protected].
What we collect
When you send the contact form
Your name, work email, company (optional), project type, budget range (optional) and the project details you write. The form sends these to us by email. They are not stored in the website’s database.
To limit spam, the site keeps a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour to count how many messages were sent. The IP address itself is not stored and is not included in the email.
When you email us
Your email address and whatever you choose to include in the message.
When you visit the site
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not load fonts or scripts from third-party services. Like any website, our hosting and security providers process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie for this purpose.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to prepare an estimate and carry out the project. The legal basis is your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To keep the site secure and free of spam. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a safe website.
We never sell your data, add you to a mailing list or use it for marketing without asking.
Who processes it for us
- Hosting Ukraine (ukraine.com.ua), Ukraine — website hosting and the [email protected] mailbox.
- Cloudflare, Inc., USA — DNS, content delivery and protection against attacks.
- Google LLC, USA — email (Gmail), where enquiries are delivered and answered.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the USA. Where this applies to data from the EU or UK, they rely on safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to a project are deleted within 24 months. If we work together, project correspondence is kept for as long as needed to support the project and meet accounting and legal obligations. The anti-spam IP hash is removed automatically after one hour.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to its use, or send it to you in a portable format. You can withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect anything we did before. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month.
If you are in the EU or UK and believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to your local data protection authority. We would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
